Sj Marais

SJ Marais is a prominent figure in the technology and engineering sectors, currently serving as Co-founder and CEO of Alphawave Golf and Co-Founder of Inrange since July 2017, where advanced driving range technology has been developed. Prior experience includes significant roles at EMSS Antennas from November 2006 to June 2017, including Project Lead for distributed radar sensor golf ball tracking technology, Technical Lead for RF and control electronics for MeerKAT radio telescope, and Design Engineer focused on antenna and electronics design for radio astronomy. SJ Marais holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a specialization in RF Electronics and Antenna Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with Computer Science, both from Stellenbosch University.
