Laurent Brochet

Laurent Brochet is an experienced professional in the field of statistics and methodology, currently serving as the Head of Unit for Methodology in Geography and Statistical Disclosure Control and the Head of Unit for Administrative Data Processing at Insee, a position held since September 2020. Prior to this, Laurent held various roles as an oral examiner in sociology and economics across multiple academic institutions, including Académie de Strasbourg and Académie de Versailles. Laurent's experience also includes an internship at the Ministère de la Transition écologique and the Direction générale du Trésor. Educational qualifications include an Engineer's degree in Statistics from ENSAE Paris, along with advanced studies in economics from Paris School of Economics and a year at Princeton University.
