Norm Messenger

As Chief Security Officer, Mr. Messenger oversees and coordinates security efforts across the company including information technology, human resources, communications, legal, facilities management and other groups. He is responsible for identifying security initiatives and setting standards including the management and of global security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures. A primary concern is the safeguarding of intellectual property and computer systems and to ensure that security policies are maintained, updated, and followed.

Mr. Messenger early career included a 20 year service as Naval Commander where he held the highest level of security clearances within the US government. During this period, Norm served in progressively more senior roles in ships and submarine support commands, logistics and financial management directorships in the Trident submarine and Aegis destroyer shipbuilding programs, strategic logistics planning positions on the Navy headquarters staff, and as the lead management consultant for the Naval Audit Service’s support for the consolidation of the Navy’s ship maintenance organizations and processes. After leaving the US Navy honorably, Norm worked for CACI, a large federal system integrator where he was a Senior Director and solution architect responsible for managing the delivery of supply chain management, homeland security, and C4ISR solutions to federal customers and A&D prime contractors. Mr. Messenger then worked for Oracle Corporation as an Oracle Public Sector solution specialist for Oracle’s SCM/PLM/VCP application suites. Norm supported solution development for Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard, Defense Logistics Agency, FAA, and foreign military customers and gained a deep understanding the applications and business processes supported by Inspirage. In his last 4.5 years with Inspirage, he has been deeply engaged in the support of Inspirage’s consulting organization and the development of Inspirage hosting and cloud capabilities. Mr. Messenger has always been consulted as a subject matter expert for digital security and privacy within Inspirage and is now responsible for this corporate function.
