Helena Llonch Valsells is a psychologist with extensive experience in mental health, education, and community support. Currently serving at Vall d'Hebron Barcelona Hospital Campus since April 2022, Helena collaborates on the Transcultural Psychiatry Program to enhance culturally competent psychosocial care within the Catalan child protection system. Additionally, Helena is a professor at the IAU Institute for American Universities, teaching human development in cultural contexts. Helena's commitment to mental health extends to work with migrant youth at Superacció, where a focus on prevention and promotion of mental health is emphasized. Prior roles include addressing drug addictions and dual pathology at CAT-Barcelona, as well as providing emotional management support during the Covid-19 pandemic with the Medical Emergency System. Helena holds a Master's in General Health Psychology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and a clinical psychology degree from Blanquerna - Universitat Ramon Llull.
