David Sibřina is a Lead Specialist for Virtual & Augmented Reality Surgical Planning at the Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine since September 2020, where David founded the "VRLab by IKEM" project in collaboration with the Transplant Surgery Department. Previously, David worked as a Medical Visualisation Researcher at the University of Sheffield, focusing on the creation of procedural textures for patient-specific models in virtual reality. David has a diverse background in graphic design and development, including experience as a 3D Generalist and Environment Artist at Alda Games s.r.o., and has provided design services to major companies as a self-employed graphic specialist. David holds a PhD in XR Medical Visualisation from Durham University and a Master’s degree in Computational Medicine from the University of Sheffield.
