Johannes Mattes

Johannes Mattes is a Research Project Leader at the Austrian Academy of Sciences, where involvement spans both the Institute of Culture Studies and the Working Group for the History of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Currently, Johannes serves as an Associated Researcher at the Nationale Akademie der Wissenschaften Leopoldina and holds the position of Marie Curie Fellow at the Universitetet i Oslo. Past experiences include lecturing at Universität Wien and several visiting scholar roles at prestigious institutions such as The University of Edinburgh, Stanford University, and EHESS. Johannes Mattes earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in History of Science from the University of Vienna.
