Sergii Kavun

Sergii Kavun is a seasoned professional in data science and machine learning, currently serving as the Lead of the Data Science Team at Luxena since April 2023. With extensive experience as an IBM Instructor and Senior Data Scientist at Integrated Technology Laboratory LLC, Kavun specializes in human pose estimation and computer vision, maintaining high code coverage and optimizing deep neural networks. Previous roles include leadership positions in various educational and research institutions, such as the RECTOR at Kharkiv University of Technology "STEP" and Head of the Information Technologies Department at the Kharkiv Institute of Banking. Academically accomplished, Kavun holds multiple degrees, including a Ph.D. in Cybernetics and a Habilitation Degree in Economic Security, reflecting a strong foundation in both technical and managerial aspects of the field.
