Greg Powell

Greg Powell is the current Chief Financial Officer at Intellipharmaceutics International, a pharmaceutical company specializing in the research, development, and manufacture of novel and generic controlled-release and targeted-release oral solid dosage drugs. Prior to their current position, Powell held the title of Director of Finance at Wave HQ from August 2018 to January 2019. Wave is a Toronto based privately held company that provides a suite of financial services and online software for small businesses. The company manages more than $240 billion in income and expense transactions for its customers, including $20 billion in annual invoicing. As Director of Finance, Powell was responsible for the preparation of financial statements, Board of Directors packages, and various reports; the conversion of accounting Software systems from Wave to Netsuite; the review of monthly results and monthly variance reporting; and the management, mentoring, and development of four staff members whose responsibilities include revenue reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and daily accounting duties.

Greg Powell is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified General Accountant who has also been certified by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Greg has experience in the field of accounting and has worked as an accountant for both public and private organizations.
