Peter Ciecka

Peter Ciecka is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in risk management. Currently serving as Unit Chief of Treasury Risk Management at the Inter-American Development Bank since March 2023, Ciecka previously held the role of Managing Director and Global Head of Fixed Income Market Risk Management at Jefferies & Company from May 2008 to March 2023. Earlier in the career, Ciecka served as Vice President in the Securitized Products Group at Morgan Stanley and as Associate Director for Mortgage Risk Management at Bear Stearns. Educational background includes a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Analytic Finance from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Master of Science in Mathematics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
