Michael Matasar

Michael Matasar began their work experience as an EMT at Elite Ambulance Company in 2013, where they provided first-aid treatment and life-support care to individuals in prehospital settings. Michael then worked as a Trader at E4, LLC in 2013, where they assisted in testing and executing algorithmic trading models in the futures market. In 2012, they worked as a Research Technician at Children's Memorial Research Center, where they designed laboratory protocols and executed molecular cloning strategies. In 2014, they worked as a Business Development Representative at Nextpoint, managing existing clients and expanding the sales pipeline. Finally, in 2015, they became a Healthcare Account Manager at Interior Investments, specializing in capital sales to healthcare facilities and pioneering the development of a company-wide CRM system.

Michael Matasar attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2008 to 2012. Michael pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology during this time. In 2010 to 2011, they also participated in a Pre-Medical Study Abroad Program at Newcastle University. Additionally, in January 2013, Michael obtained certification as an Emergency Medical Technician from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.
