Ali Akash has an extensive background in peace studies and conflict resolution, currently serving as a Member of the International Association for Political Science Students since November 2022. Previously, Ali worked as a Research Associate at the National University of Sciences and Technology from December 2021 to February 2023 and as the Managing Editor for the NUST Journal of International Peace and Stability from September 2021 to February 2023. Additional experience includes a role as a Research Assistant in various capacities at the Centre for International Peace and Stability and the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies. Ali began involvement in the field through an internship at Cavish Development Foundation in 2013. Ali is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution at the University of Melbourne, following a Master's degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from NUST and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Bahria University.
