Mano Buckshi

Mano Buckshi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in financial management and human resources, currently serving as a Grant Officer and Grant Administrator at the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) since February 2003. In this role, Mano advises program staff and recipients on financial matters related to research proposals and budgets, ensures compliance with Centre policies, and manages the project approval process. Additional responsibilities include preparing legal documents, guiding grantees through country clearance procedures, and analyzing financial reports. Prior to IDRC, Mano held several positions, including Coordinator and Administrator at Canadian Blood Services, Payroll Administrator at Convergys, and Payroll Administrator and Supervisor at Glenayre Manufacturing. Mano's educational background includes a BA in Political Economy from Athabasca University, attained between 2006 and 2015.
