Clark Smith

Clark Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in economic development consulting. Since May 2005, Clark has served as a Partner at Smart Solutions Group, Inc., a firm specializing in various aspects of economic development, including marketing and technology. Additionally, Clark has been a Volunteer Member of the International Economic Development Council since 2004. Prior to this, Clark owned and operated Butler House on Grand Bed and Breakfast from 1999 to 2020. Previous roles include Sales at LocationOne Information System, President at Member Management Group, and Director of Economic Development for Peoples Natural Gas. Clark's career in economic development began as a Business Manager at the Iowa Department of Economic Development and as Executive Director at the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce. Educational qualifications include a BS in Public Service and Administration from Iowa State University.
