Andrey Sawchenko has extensive experience in anti-human trafficking efforts, currently serving as the Regional Vice President for Forced Labor Programs in the Asia Pacific region at the International Justice Mission since July 2004. Prior roles within the organization include Field Office Director in Bangkok, Chennai, Cebu, and Chiang Mai, as well as Regional Director for South India and National Director for the Philippines. Prior to this, Andrey worked as an Associate Attorney at Ellis, Li & McKinstry PLLC from October 2001 to June 2004. Andrey earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Washington School of Law between 1998 and 2001, after obtaining a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Trinity Western University from 1993 to 1997.
