Manuel Vega-Cuberos

Manuel Vega-Cuberos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in human rights, urban development, and international relations. Currently serving as a Labour Protection Officer at the International Labour Organization since September 2024, Manuel previously held the position of SDG 16+ Forum Senior Coordinator at the World Federation of United Nations Associations from March 2023 to August 2024. Earlier, Manuel contributed as an International Human Rights Consultant for GANHRI and the Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre, and as a professor at Universidad Externado de Colombia. Additional roles include consultancy positions with UN-Habitat, focusing on urban policy and development, and in innovation consultancy at Opinno. Manuel holds dual Master's degrees in International Relations and International Trade and Commerce Law from Macquarie University, complemented by an exchange program at Tilburg University and a Political Science degree from Universidad de Los Andes.
