Damien Desmedt

Damien Desmedt is the current Vice President and General Manager of Western Europe at Intuitive Surgical. Damien has held this position since January 2018.

Prior to this, they served as the Vice President and General Manager of France - Benelux - Nordics from November 2016 to January 2018. Damien was also the Vice President and General Manager for France - UK and Ireland - Nordics - Benelux from April 2015 to November 2016.

Before joining Intuitive, Damien worked at Medtronic for 9 years in various roles, including District Manager - Cardiac Rythm Disease Management Division - South France, Business Unit Manager - Sales & Marketing - France, and District Manager Auto Sutures Division - South West France.

Damien Desmedt's educational career includes studying sales and marketing at Essec Business School Paris, situational leadership training at Coaching, and leadership management training at Krauthammer International. Damien also holds a B.T.S. in Sales and Marketing from Pigier and a Bac from Rugby Boarding School at Ussel.
