Umutcan Öncül

Umutcan Öncül has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Umutcan is currently working as a Product Strategy Manager at Invenco by GVR, where they are responsible for CMS and Loyalty Programs in Retail Solutions. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Manager at Mikrogrup, where they managed the e-transformation product family and oversaw the entire product life cycle.

Before Mikrogrup, Umutcan worked at Aktif Bank, where they held two roles. As an Innovation Manager, they played a key role in defining the company's strategic goals, developing digital products, and identifying new business opportunities. Umutcan also served as an Investment Analyst, responsible for identifying potential start-ups for acquisition and managing relationships with corporate partners.

Earlier in their career, Umutcan gained experience as a Senior Specialist of Product Management at Pronet Güvenlik Hizmetleri, a Project Management Specialist at Creentech Danışmanlık ve Teknoloji Hizmetleri, a Project Engineer at Netas, and a Project Engineer at Siemens. These roles allowed him to develop expertise in product management, project management, and engineering.

Umutcan Öncül's education history begins with their studies at Tóth Arpád Gimnázium in 2009, where they participated in an AFS Exchange Student program. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering at Istanbul Kultur University from 2010 to 2014. Umutcan then furthered their education by enrolling in the İstanbul Technical University in 2020, where they are currently pursuing a Master's degree in İşletme Yüksek Lisans Programı (MBA) with a specialization in Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management.
