Richard Cardo

Richard Cardo, CFA, Chartered MCSI, is a seasoned portfolio manager at Investec Wealth & Investment International, leading Single Manager Investments since October 2006. With extensive experience in both portfolio and fund management, Richard oversees the Investec Global Leaders fund and manages discretionary segregated stock portfolios and unit trust funds. Prior roles include institutional business development at Rand Merchant Bank, investment analyst at Investec, risk analyst at UBS, legal and risk analyst at J.P. Morgan, and attorney at Venn Nemeth & Hart Inc. Richard holds multiple qualifications, including a Chartered Financial Analyst designation and membership with The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, along with degrees in law and commerce from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Additionally, Richard completed a program in Global Investors at INSEAD in 2010.
