Matthew Everly

Matthew Everly, PharmD, FAST, currently serves as the Director of Medical Evidence Generation in Neurology at Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc., since September 2025. Prior to this role, Matthew held various senior positions, including Senior Director of Global Portfolio Strategy and Evidence Generation at Hansa Biopharma, and Director of Global Evidence & Outcomes at Takeda Oncology. Matthew also has experience as the Founder and Principal of Cleverly Health LLC and as an adjunct professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, where involvement spanned from May 2012 to November 2020. Significant earlier roles include Chief Scientific Officer at One Lambda, research director at Terasaki Research Institute, and Clinical Coordinator at Mercy Catholic Medical Center. Matthew's education includes a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Cincinnati, along with advanced training in Clinical Research and Transplant Pharmacy.
