James Mcdonald

James McDonald, CFA, serves as the Director of Capital Markets & Fund Finance at IPI Partners since May 2023. Prior to this role, James worked at TPG as the Head Trader for FX and Derivative Risk Management from January 2018 to May 2023. James began their career at Bloomberg LP as a Risk/Derivatives and Fixed Income Specialist from July 2015 to January 2018. Academically, James earned an MBA from the Texas McCombs School of Business, receiving the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence, and holds a Summa Cum Laude Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
