Hsiang-Sheng Ku is a seasoned professional in quantum computing, currently serving as Team Leader for QPU Architecture and Technical Lead at IQM Quantum Computers since January 2022. Previously, Hsiang-Sheng was a Quantum Scientist at Alibaba Group from August 2018 to December 2021, where significant contributions included founding the hardware team in Alibaba Quantum Laboratory and designing scalable quantum processors. Prior roles include Research Associate at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, where design and development of superconducting quantum electrical circuits were key responsibilities, and Graduate Research Assistant at JILA, focusing on microwave components for quantum information processing. Hsiang-Sheng's early research experience includes a position at Academia Sinica, Taiwan, working on magneto-optical traps and microwave traps. Hsiang-Sheng holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from National Taiwan University.
