Yuzhi Zhu

Yuzhi Zhu, also known as Steven, is an accomplished professional in the gaming industry with a strong background in 3D environment and lighting artistry. Currently serving as Lead Judge at The Rookies since April 2025 and a 3D Environment and Lighting Artist at iRacing.com since February 2024, Zhu previously worked as a Lighting Artist I at Electronic Arts from November 2021 to October 2023. Further experience includes roles at Turn 10 Studios as a 3D Look Development Artist Intern and at Epic Games as a 3D Environment Artist Intern, contributing to projects such as Fortnite Season 5. Earlier in the career, Zhu worked as a 3D Environment Artist and Lighting Artist at Heroic Games and provided tutoring support at Shawnee State University. Zhu holds a Master of Fine Arts in Game and Interactive Media Design from Savannah College of Art and Design and a Bachelor's degree in Gaming and Simulation Development from Shawnee State University.
