Melanie Smith has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles related to brand marketing and management. Melanie is currently serving as the Head of Brand Marketing, APAC at Isentia since February 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Brand Marketing, ANZ at Isentia from May 2022 to February 2023.
Before joining Isentia, Melanie worked at MLC Life Insurance as a Senior Manager, Brand Marketing & Governance from March 2020 to December 2021. Melanie also worked at MLC Australia as the Brand Manager, Brand and Sponsorship from October 2016 to March 2020.
Melanie had a secondment at NAB as the Brand & Digital Marketing Manager from January 2016 to October 2016, and before that, they were the Marketing Manager at NAB Wealth from January 2014 to January 2016.
In their earlier career, Melanie worked as a Marketing Consultant at Alsure from January 2012 to September 2013. Melanie provided expertise in marketing campaigns and contributed to business plans and strategies for the construction market. Melanie also worked as a Campaign Manager at Legal & General from August 2010 to September 2013, where they developed and executed marketing plans.
Prior to that, Melanie served as a Marketing Campaign Executive at Black Horse Finance from May 2006 to August 2010. Melanie handled customer retention and acquisition campaigns and managed the promotion of financial products. Early in their career, Melanie worked at The White Horse Inn, where they gained experience in marketing strategy and customer relationship programs.

Melanie Smith has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Marketing from The University of Gloucestershire. In addition to their degree, they obtained certifications in Behavioural Economics in Action from edX in December 2020 and in WFH Marketing Masterclass from ADMA in August 2020.
