Julie Sullivan is an experienced project manager currently working at Island Conservation since April 2022. Prior to this role, Julie served as the Coastal Restoration Project Manager at The Nature Conservancy from 2009 to 2020, where responsibilities included directing multiple projects along the Texas coast aimed at enhancing critical habitats and improving coastal resiliency, overseeing a budget of $14 million across four concurrent projects. In earlier positions at The Nature Conservancy, Julie coordinated grants and research as the Coastal Projects Coordinator and developed conservation programs as the Preserve Manager for Mad Island Marsh, a 7,000-acre coastal preserve. Julie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology from Texas A&M University Galveston Campus, obtained between 2002 and 2005.
