Vivek Saxena is a seasoned professional in environmental management and conservation, currently serving as PCCF (Wild Life) and Chief Wild Life Warden with the Haryana Government since February 2025. Holding multiple significant positions, including PCCF cum Member Secretary of the Haryana State Biodiversity Board and Chief Executive Officer of the Haryana State CAMPA Authority, Saxena has been an influential figure in the Government of Haryana since 2014. With previous experience as Deputy Director General in the Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, and roles in forest management and policy in both India and abroad, Saxena has a profound academic background with a PhD in Agroforestry and Climate Change from the Forest Research Institute and master's degrees in forestry and physics. Currently, Saxena is also a Country Representative for the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) in India.
