Scientific Software Sales Executive

iVention, LLC is hiring for a Scientific SoftwareSales Executive. This role is a 100% remote full-time position.

At iVention, we seek to build upon our team by hiring creative and dedicated individuals to grow our business. As a team, we work with laboratories to simplify their laboratory processes by creating and implementing iVention’s Laboratory Execution System (iLES) into their daily workflow.

You will be responsible for helping build up iVention by identifying new business prospects and selling the value of iLES to them. You must maintain relationships with current clients and build and maintain relationships with new clients.

Areas Of Responsibility:

  • Contact prospective lab customers to demonstrate software, explain product value, and drive buying decisions.

  • Recommend solutions to labs based on customers' needs and ROI.

  • Answer customers' questions about how iLES delivers value to laboratories.

  • Search and answer RFI/RFP’s

  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, and delivery dates.

  • Consult with laboratories after-sales, during implementation, and after go-live to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.

  • Identify prospective laboratories by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.

  • Prepare estimates and bids that meet specific customer needs.

  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
