Alex Caron

Alex Caron currently serves as the Curriculum Alignment Manager at IXL Learning, leading the development and enhancement of over 1,000 skill plans to facilitate effective content usage aligned with educational goals in various subjects. Prior experience includes roles at Newsela, where responsibilities ranged from Learning Design Lead, where research and insights informed curriculum design, to Content Manager for ELA, overseeing instructional designers and launching educational materials. At Summit Public Schools, Alex held the position of Assistant Director and managed instructional initiatives, faculty, and professional development while focusing on data-driven decision-making. Additional roles include teaching positions at KIPP Bay Area Schools, Arlington Public Schools, and QuantumCamp, complemented by an academic background that includes a Master's from Stanford University and a Bachelor's from Dartmouth College.
