Jared Heady serves as the SVP, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. since October 2018, with previous roles including VP, Deputy General Counsel and VP, Associate General Counsel & Assistant Corporate Secretary. Prior to this, Jared worked at Fried Frank from February 2015 to October 2018 as an Associate in the Capital Markets Group, specializing in corporate finance transactions and securities law compliance. Jared also held an Associate position at Lowenstein Sandler LLP from September 2010 to February 2015, focusing on similar corporate finance and compliance matters. Initial legal experience includes a Summer Associate role at Lowenstein Sandler PC in 2009, along with program management at RuffaloCODY from 2004 to 2007, and serving as a MASTERS Supervisor at Vanderbilt University from 2002 to 2004. Jared holds a J.D. from Rutgers Law School and a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
