Juan Quispe

Juan Quispe has diverse work experience in software development roles. Juan started their career at Fundación Jala, where they worked as a Software Engineer. During this time, they developed a billing application using Meteor JS and JavaScript, adapting and configuring over 5000 bills and creating documentation for billing in Bolivia. Juan also worked on a web postulation tracking system for students, designing and implementing a web application and creating documentation for the postulation process.

Juan then joined Jalasoft as a C# Developer, where they extended the functionality available on SharePoint and provided new features for users. Juan participated in defining and developing new functionalities, as well as bug fixing and customer support escalations.

At Jalasoft, Juan later took on the role of Staff Software Developer, and then Senior Software Developer. In these positions, they developed software to monitor virtual and physical devices deployed on different cloud technologies and physical laboratories. Juan worked on back-end development for REST API services such as Windows Azure, Amazon, IBM DB2, Google, Windows Server, Cisco AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Apcon, and Cisco Viptela. Juan consistently exceeded client expectations.

Currently, Juan is working at Unity Technologies as a Speaker. The specific details about this role are not provided.

Juan Quispe attended The American International School of Bolivia from 1991 to 2009, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree. Juan then enrolled at Fundación Jala from 2010 to 2014, where they pursued a degree in Softure. In 2015 and 2016, Juan attended Fundación Jala again, this time focusing on Research & Development. Lastly, from 2011 to 2018, they studied Computer Software Engineering at Universidad Mayor de San Simón.
