Judge David Hunter

Judge David Hunter (Ret.) boasts over 34 years of judicial experience, having resolved more than 1,000 cases through settlement conferences and presiding over complex civil litigations. Currently serving as a Neutral at JAMS since September 2012, Judge Hunter's extensive expertise includes handling a diverse array of cases such as breach of contract, medical malpractice, and toxic torts, among others. Prior judicial roles include serving as a Judge at the Superior Court of Alameda County and the San Leandro-Hayward Municipal Court, where Judge David also held the position of Presiding Judge. Judge Hunter earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Economics from Brigham Young University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco.
