Tomonori Ikeno

Tomonori Ikeno has extensive experience in the petroleum industry, currently serving in the role of Environmental Business Promotion/New Business Promotion at Japan Petroleum Exploration Co., Ltd. since April 2022. Prior to this position, Ikeno held the title of Vice President of the Middle East, Asia & Europe Project Division at 石油資源開発株式会社 from October 2021 to March 2022 and was the President of Japan Canada Oil Sands Limited from June 2020 while also serving as a director at Canada Oil Sands Co. from April 1986 to October 2021. In addition, Ikeno was a Director at Large and the Director of the Japan Sub-Chapter for the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators from April 2011 to April 2014. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Law from Kobe University, an MBA from Aoyama Business School, a Master of Business Law from Hitotsubashi University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Law from Kyushu University.
