Joe Welsh Ceng Micheme

Joe Welsh CEng MIChemE possesses extensive experience in research and development within the food and beverage industry, currently serving as R&D Global Category Director for Instants & Strategic Technology Initiatives at JDE Peet's since July 2015. In this role, Joe focuses on driving sustainability and growth by aligning technology roadmaps with business needs while being an active member of the R&D leadership team. Previous roles at JDE Peet's include R&D Process Technology Manager and R&D Technology Expert, where Joe developed technology strategies and led critical process development projects. Prior to joining JDE Peet's, Joe worked at Mondelēz International, contributing to novel processes and technology developments in powdered beverages. Joe holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Bath.
