Derek Snow

Derek Snow, P.E. has over a decade of experience in fire protection engineering, currently serving as Manager and Senior Fire Protection Engineer at Jensen Hughes since June 2011, where previously roles included Senior Fire Protection Engineer, Fire Protection Engineer, and Fire Protection Consultant. Prior experience includes working as a Fire Protection Engineering Technician at the US Army Natick Soldier Research, Development, and Engineering Center from May 2010 to June 2011, and a Technical Intern at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger in the summer of 2009. Derek also gained early experience as an Intern at the U.S. Navy Clothing & Textile Research Facility in 2008. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Fire Protection Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both earned at Worcester Polytechnic Institute between 2006 and 2011.
