Mahesh Toshniwal

Mahesh Toshniwal currently serves as the Group Head of IT Operations at Jindal Steel & Power Ltd. since August 2023, focusing on IT strategy and expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Prior to this role, Mahesh was with STL Digital as the Head of Corporate IT Operations and Group Initiatives, where responsibilities included managing information security, audit, compliance, and IT processes. Mahesh also held the position of Head of Corporate IT Operations at Vedanta Limited, where similar responsibilities were undertaken alongside IT infrastructure and project management. Earlier experience includes leading IT infrastructure at Sterlite Copper and strategic planning roles at Vedanta Resources Limited. Mahesh holds a B. Tech. in Information Technology from the University of Rajasthan, earned between 2005 and 2008.
