Scott Wielar

Scott Wielar is a Partner at JM Search and a member of the Firm’s Technology Practice. He has a strong track record of successfully delivering top-line growth in private and growth equity ventures. An innovative leader with a strong results orientation, Scott has expertise in both identifying and capitalizing on new growth opportunities and developing the requisite infrastructure and leadership teams to capitalize on those opportunities.

Prior to JM Search, Scott was the Chief Revenue Officer & Managing Director with Green Peak Partners, a leadership acceleration firm serving the private equity ecosystem. At Green Peak, he led their Leadership Consulting Practice, as well as provided one-on-one coaching to investors and portfolio company C-Suite executives. Before joining Green Peak, Scott was a Managing Director with Fahrenheit Advisors where he led the firm’s Private Equity Consulting Practice. Scott also held a variety of executive roles in technology-oriented private equity portfolio companies, including President, Chief Revenue Officer, and Chief Marketing Officer. Scott’s early career included management roles with Capital One and Bain & Company.

Scott earned his MBA with high honors from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, as well as a B.S. in Commerce with distinction from the University of Virginia. He lives in Pennsylvania and spends much of the year traveling the east coast to watch his two children compete in collegiate swimming competitions.
