Jake Balek

Jake Balek is currently a Softball Analytics Intern at Syracuse University, leading a team of interns to implement data analytics and dashboards that enhance coaching initiatives. Experienced in gameday operations at JMA Wireless since October 2021, Jake coordinates and resolves challenges related to fan engagement and technical issues. Previous roles include serving as a Player Participation Analyst at PFF, where game film analysis was conducted, and as a Player Analyst & Scout Intern for Prep Baseball Report, focusing on talent identification in central Ohio. As a League Front Office Intern for the Pioneer Baseball League, Jake generated player profiles and managed social media outreach. Jake is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Sports Analytics at the David B. Falk College of Sport & Human Dynamics at Syracuse University, expected to graduate in May 2025.
