Jacob Vigil currently serves as Director II for the Rework America Alliance Initiative at Jobs for the Future, focusing on equity within the workforce ecosystem and facilitating opportunities for workers facing economic mobility barriers. Prior to this role, Jacob held the position of Director of Partnerships at the Markle Foundation, where leadership was provided for national strategies and grantmaking efforts exceeding $1 million annually, alongside the development of a national Employer Program that promoted skills-first practices. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Manager for the Skillful & Rework America Alliance Employer Initiative, Career Services Manager at Emily Griffith Technical College, Workforce Specialist/Facilitator at Arapahoe/Douglas Works!, and Technician II at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Jacob holds a B.A. in Sociology with an emphasis in Pre-Law from the University of Colorado Boulder.
