Russell D. Greiff has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Russell D. is currently working at Jobs for the Future as the Chief Strategy & Growth Officer, a position they started in May 2021. Before joining Jobs for the Future, they held the role of Senior Advisor at the Georgia Institute of Technology, starting in September 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Advisor at the University of Virginia, starting in September 2019.

In terms of their entrepreneurship, Russell founded the eQ group in September 2015. Russell D. was also an Executive-in-Residence and Senior Advisor at New Markets Venture Partners from April 2014.

Russell has also held significant roles in established organizations. Russell D. was the Senior Vice President of U.S. and Global Programs at 2U from April 2017 to May 2019. Before that, they served as the Managing Director and General Partner of 1776 Ventures, a DC-based global tech incubator and venture fund focused on transformative start-ups, from March 2015 to January 2019. Russell also co-founded Learnist in June 2010 and served as the Chief Strategy & Development Officer and Board Member until January 2015.

Their earlier experiences include leadership roles at Sylvan Learning from 2003 to 2010, where they held positions such as President of Ivy West, General Manager of Sylvan College Prep, General Manager of Reading Rainbow Media and Online, and Vice President of Corporate Development at Catapult Learning. Prior to that, Russell was the VP and General Manager of USA e-Commerce Solutions at IAC from 1999 to 2002.

Russell D. Greiff's education history begins in 1988 when they enrolled at Washington University in St. Louis. Russell D. pursued a double major in Political Science and History and successfully completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in 1992.

In 1991, Greiff participated in the Winter Semester Abroad Program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). During their time at LSE, they focused on the subjects of Economics and Philosophy.

Following their undergraduate studies, Greiff furthered their education by attending the Coro New York Leadership Center in 1992. Russell D. completed a Leadership Fellowship program at the center, which aimed to develop their leadership skills and professional competence.

Greiff then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Harvard Business School. From 1998 to 2000, they immersed himself in the field of Entrepreunership, Social Enterprise, and Impact Investing, acquiring expertise in these areas.
