Camilla De Bernardi

Camilla De Bernardi is currently the Residence Director at John Cabot University. Prior to that, they worked as a Resident Assistant at Central Michigan University from August 2018 to May 2020. In their role as a Resident Assistant, Camilla developed a supportive and inclusive community for students to thrive in through programming and educating. Camilla also counseled peers on academic and personal concerns, and led by example through mature behavior consistent with university regulations and rules. Furthermore, they created and implemented social, educational and recreational programs for residents, and educated residents on matters of diversity and social justice. Throughout their time at Central Michigan University, Camilla participated and contributed to weekly staff meetings oriented to address the needs of the community, as well as various staff-training sessions focused on topics such as mental health, conflict-resolution, and social justice.
