Site Engineer - Inland Rail (benalla)

Uqbah Ahmad is a civil engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles, currently serving as a Site Engineer - Facade at John Holland since March 2021, where responsibilities include installing a timber and steel geodesic facade. Prior to this position, Uqbah held multiple roles as a Junior Site Engineer on major projects, including the Front of House Fitout Engineer for the LaTrobe entrance to the State Library Station and installation of the track system at the Metro Tunnel. Additional experience includes track engineering for the Glenroy and Preston Level Crossing Removal Projects and a role as a Cadet Completions Engineer for the Essendon LXRP. Uqbah's background also includes a brief tenure in the food industry and a teaching aide position. Uqbah holds a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering, both from RMIT University.
