The board of directors at John Lewis Partnership have a long and varied history, with many different types of experience and education between them. Some of the previous experiences of the board members include working as a head of department for a NATO Stabilisation Force, being a branch manager for Waitrose & Partners, and working as a freelance consultant for Oman-based clients. The board members also have a wide range of educational backgrounds, including studying business and finance at North Tyneside College, business management and strategy at The Manchester Metropolitan University, and German studies at The Open University.
