Mohammed Ashrafi

Mohammed Ashrafi is currently employed as a CCM fabrication scale-up engineer at Johnson Matthey since January 2023. Previously, during a tenure as a project engineer at Unilever from April to August 2022, Mohammed developed a virtual reality-based application that assessed laboratory designs for collaborative robot deployment, utilizing SolidWorks to create over 40 detailed models with significant accuracy. Prior experience includes working as a mechanical design engineer at POMO Robotics from October 2021 to April 2022, where Mohammed developed a mobile robotics palletiser by translating client requirements into design specifications and optimizing space requirements by 20%. Mohammed holds a Master of Science in Mechatronics and Automation from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from REVA University.
