Chris Strunk

Chris Strunk, PE, is a Project Engineer and Highway Design Engineer at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson since May 2017. Prior experience includes an Environmental Intern role at The North American Coal Corporation, where assistance was provided in surface mining land reclamation projects, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant position at The University of Texas at Tyler, supporting professors in grading and laboratory sessions. Noteworthy past roles also include Field Engineer positions at Halliburton Energy Services and Express Energy Services, where Chris planned and executed well services and led crews under pressure. Chris holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Tyler and a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Engineering from Iowa State University.
