Phyllis Coletta

Phyllis Coletta, JD, currently serves as a Chaplain at Journey Hospice since October 2024. Previously, Phyllis was a Senior Writer at Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. from April 2022 to December 2024 and co-founded Beautiful Minds Coaching for Teenagers, where Phyllis was Executive Director from July 2020 to June 2021, focusing on virtual coaching for struggling teens. Phyllis has a decade of experience as a Freelance Writer, contributing to various literary forms and specializing in grant and legal content. Additional roles include teaching at Interagency Academy, directing The Conversation Project in Boulder County, serving as a Regional Consultant for The Schwartz Center for Compassionate Healthcare, and working as a Risk Management Coordinator at Shore Medical Center. Phyllis practiced law as an attorney from 1986 to 2002, primarily in insurance defense. Phyllis holds a JD from Rutgers Law School and a Bachelor's degree from Boston College, along with a certification in grant writing from The Grant Training Center.
