Irfan Ahmed Channa

Irfan Ahmed Channa is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in guarantees and trade finance. Currently serving as Head of Guarantees at JS Bank since October 2024, Irfan has held key positions such as Unit Head Guarantees at the National Bank of Pakistan and Head of Guarantees at The Bank of Khyber. Previously, Irfan worked as Senior Manager at Habib Bank Limited, focusing on bank guarantees and standby letters of credit, and as Trade Manager at Standard Chartered Bank, overseeing the management of guarantees. Irfan began a career in banking as a Management Trainee at Meezan Bank, progressing through various roles that enhanced expertise in trade finance operations. Irfan holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Sindh and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of the Punjab, alongside a solid educational foundation in commerce and science.
