Paul Oeth is currently the Co-Founder of Lab Ops at Juno Diagnostics, but they have plenty of experience in the field. From January 2016 to March 2018, Paul was a Clinical Lab Scientist (CGMBS) with Trovagene. Paul then took on the role as Head of Clinical Lab Operations and Diagnostic Assay Development with Sequenom Laboratories from June 2009 to December 2015. In this role, they were responsible for the laboratory operations of three different Sequenom Center for Molecular Medicine clinical labs. Paul was in charge of lab performance, personnel, budgets, and technology/science advancements, among other things. Paul was also the Project Leader for the development and commercialization of a Cystic Fibrosis LDT for carrier screening. Paul has collaborated with Scripps Translational Science Institute and UCSD/San Diego Supercomputer Center on various projects. Most recently, they were the Project Leader for the exploration of clinically significant structural variations in the RCA locus of chromosome 1 in relation to disease association with age-related macular degeneration. Paul's experience and expertise make him a valuable asset to Juno Diagnostics.


Paul Oeth has a type: Clinical Genetics Molecular Biologist Scientist License and a certification from the California Department of Public Health. Paul also has a certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) as a Technologist in Molecular Biology. Paul attended the Sequenom Center for Molecular Medicine for their CGMBS training program and Scripps Research for their Graduate Research. Paul received their Bachelor's degree from University of San Diego in Biology/Biological Sciences, General.
