Paul Kradin

As Chief Sustainability Officer, Paul ensures every aspect of the company honors JYBE’s sustainability values, bringing a strong background in communication strategies to effectively reach consumers. He vets product innovation, app reviews, and all company activity through a sustainability lens, including regional regulations, and works directly with partners to educate and help them transition to more Earth-friendly practices. He is also invested in the vendor process as well as JYBE’s Provider Playbook and Simple Swaps programs, obtaining new and experimental packaging materials for research and development.

Previously, he worked in philanthropic communications for a non-profit national hospital network. In response to his rising alarm over the planet’s climate crisis, Paul left his career in communications in 2018 to launch CO2CYCLE, an environmental sustainability firm working with commercial and photo shoots to make their sets carbon neutral, single-use plastic-free and more mindful about recycling waste. Since launching in August 2018, CO2CYCLE has worked on nearly two dozen sets and seen a growing interest in the service. Paul holds a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles in English Literature.
