Eric Holderness

Eric Holderness has extensive experience in fundraising and development within higher education. Serving at Kansas State University Foundation from January 2018 to June 2024, Eric held multiple leadership roles, culminating as Vice President of Development, where oversight of fundraising efforts led to a record $234 million in fiscal year 2022 and substantial success with 36 principal gift prospects generating over $37 million. Prior experience includes positions at K-State Athletics, where Eric managed annual giving and executed a capital campaign exceeding $1 million, as well as roles in donor engagement and retail management. Eric's educational background includes a Master’s degree in College Student Counseling and Personnel Services and a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from Kansas State University.
