In this role, they were responsible for managing the internal and external strategic brand and reputation of Anthem, Inc. and Anthem’s CEO and C-suite executives. Tobin also promoted Anthem’s financial, consumer and clinical strategies; and oversaw enterprise communications, social media, marcomm research, creative and event production staff. Tobin improved company reputation by 20% and reduced negative exposure by 50% through multi-year influencer campaign involving coalition building, content marketing and launch of digital reputation properties.

In 2016, Richer left Anthem to join KAR Auction Services as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications. In this role, they are responsible for leading the company’s marketing and communications initiatives.

Tobin Richer received a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Tobin then attended DePaul University College of Law, where they obtained a Doctor of Law in Health Law. Finally, they completed their education at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, earning a Master of Public Health.
