Brian Bartholomew

Principal Security Researcher, Global Research & Analysis Team at Kaspersky

Brian joined Kaspersky in 2015. Prior to this, he has worked for the US Department of State (2001-2009), overseas on a contract with another government (2009-2012), and iSight Partners (2012-2015). His daily duties include tracking the latest threat actors, researching and reversing malware, hunting for new threats, and contributing to the Threat Intelligence product. Brian also teaches the threat intelligence course at the Security Analyst Summit (SAS) each year. When he’s not chasing threat actors, Brian enjoys the quiet life in Virginia with his family, dog, and chickens.
